Brussels Bombed Obama at a Ballgame

Yesterday Brussels was bombed by the radicalized "religion of peace" killing over 30 and wounding scores more. Of course this is retaliation for the Belgian police capturing the Paris bomber who got away four months ago. These ISIS cowards slaughter the innocent in the name of religion. What a joke.

Of course our president was on his tour of the communist portion of the Caribbean, visiting Cuba and cozying up to the Castro's. So instead of cutting his trip short and coming home, Mr. Obama goes to a ballgame with Cuban Dictator Raul Castro. I saw a photo of them doing the wave together. What a disgrace. Once again, I'm embarrassed that this man is the president of my country.

Belgium in a member of NATO, as is the United States. If memory serves me correctly, an attack on any NATO country is an attack on all. In these times, an attack by the scourge known as ISIS in a NATO country demands a response by all member nations.

I understand that America needs to lead the way. We have by far have the largest military, the most powerful military and the most money. I'm good with all of that. What we need is a Commander in Chief that has the testicular fortitude to act. Barack Obama is not it.

I would bet a large sum of money that the Joint Chiefs have a plan that would destroy ISIS. If not destroy, then at least make it so they might think twice about another terrorist attack. This would suffice. ISIS needs to be afraid of us. They need to know that if another bomb goes off, we will rain an unimaginable type of hell upon them. This drone strike hear and there is obviously not cutting it.

Then there is the perception of standing by our allies. After the Charlie Hebdo attacks in Paris, leaders from all over went to Paris. Not Barack Hussein Obama. He sent someone else instead. I wonder of it was the same person he sent to the funerals of criminals here in the States. I don't remember Mr. Obama going to France after the attacks in November, 2015 and I doubt he'll make to anything that is planned to remember the dead and wounded in this attack.

I can't wait for January of next year so we can be rid of this Pretender in Chief.

The Old White Guy

Today on Instagram I re-posted a photo of a woman that appears to be vomiting and the caption reads, This is how I feel when I hear the name Obama. When I first saw the picture, I laughed. No surprise there. Then I got a comment form a young person that reads, "Just looked through your page, and just as I thought you're a old, white guy who probably listened to everything his parents taught him as a child instead of looking at the world through his own eyes." Again, I laughed. At least I learned how to use punctuation and to spell.

After looking through my page, I'm surprised that this person did not come away with an appreciation for the police, the military, guns, food, conservative politics and sarcasm. Instead this young whipper-snapper called me an old white guy. Notice how it's "an" not "a" when it precedes a word that starts with a vowel.

I don't recall using age or race in my post. Granted I hash tagged Hillary, Bernie, Killary, Trump, Cruz, Rubio, conservative, liberal, Obama, infidel and American infidel. Equal opportunity there. Anybody that knows me here, or even there, knows I'm conservative. I call liberals, liberal. I think their policies are ridiculous at best, at worst stupid and even detrimental to our country. Yet I don't use race as a pejorative. This person did.

I too looked through the page of my commenter and it appears to be a young person of color. And because of that and the fact that I'm white, automatically makes me wrong in the eyes of this person. Or of anyone on the left. And that suits me just fine.

I responded to my commenter that I haven't always been this conservative. Believe it or not. And like our President I have evolved on certain issues. I didn't mention that I really don't care about a lot of social issues, that I'm not religious or that I didn't go to college. This person probably thinks I was also born into wealth. Not hardly.

One thing I am proud of though is that I've had a job since I was 13 years old. Sometimes two and three jobs at once. I've been paying taxes for quite a while. I've always been disappointed that my government operates at a loss. No, government shouldn't make a profit, but should at least break even. I hate the way that government squanders a good part, if not all of the taxes it takes from me.

I don't mind helping those who can't. I refuse to continue to support those that won't.

Where Have I Been?

Has it really been two years since I lasted posted here? It appears so. And for that I apologize. A lot has happened since then. Really? It all sounds like the same old thing to me. Liberals wanting things their way or the highway. Things like gun control, making free speech not so free and telling sports teams that they have to change their name because it might offend somebody. Let's start with that, shall we?

The Washington Redskins have had their trademark protections removed because the name might be offensive to some? Well then, how about the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim? Might that be offensive to atheists? The Giants, either from San Fran or New York, to shorter folk? The Padres to non Spanish speakers? The Raiders, Buccaneers and Pirates to people that have had ancestors killed by the scourge of the high seas? Do you see where we can take this?

Some will say that I'm over exaggerating. I don't think so. If one team can be made to change their name then any of them can. And there's no stopping the insanity. Teams named for animals will be castigated by animal rights groups. After all exploiting cougars and dolphins by naming a team after them is inhuman.

The sooner people stop seeing themselves as victims in this country, the sooner they can get on with the business of living. I am of partial Irish decent. During the turn of the last century the Irish were discriminated against because of their religious views. I don't feel like I am owed anything by the descendants of those that did the discriminating. The term "Paddy Wagon" has a derisive meaning towards the Irish because they were thought of as being drunks and the wagon was used to haul them off to jail. It is an old term and I couldn't care less about it. If I were to hear it either as a citizen or as a police officer, I know I wouldn't be offended.

The PC thugs in this country are out of control. I can't remember seeing it written anywhere that you have the right to not be offended by anyone. The First Amendment deals with free speech. There is a lot of things said in this country that I don't agree with or that I find downright offensive. Oh well, I voice my displeasure here. I don't take to the streets, petition Congress for new legislation or lose sleep over it.

The Redskins have been around for a long time. If you're really offended, don't go to the games, don't watch them on TV and root for the Cowboys.

And the Winner Is.................

Not to the surprise of many, Mitt Romney came out on top in Iowa. But not by much. Who would have imagined the Rick Santorum would have come such a close second. Not me, that's for sure. But still, good for Rick. Now his campaign will get some more coverage and a bunch of money. Now that Michele Bachmann has bowed out I wonder how many of her supporters will change their allegiance to Santorum.

I was disappointed to see Michele call it quits. I don't care what you think of her politics, she is a smart person, a committed conservative and the leader of the "repeal Obamacare" coalition. She has a background as a tax attorney, that made me think that she would reform, or at least try to reform the monstrosity known as the US Tax Code. It will be interesting to see if the eventual nominee considers her for the VP slot.

But back to Romney and Santorum. Both have hit the road to New Hampshire and the media is already calling Santorum names. I have heard him referred to as a "big government" conservative. Is that anything like jumbo shrimp? The moniker is a contradiction in terms. I am listening to Margaret Hoover blasting Santorum for his opposition to gay marriage. Didn't Barry also say that he was opposed to gay marriage? Now Rick is fervent on this issue as well as being pro-life. That may be why he did so well in Iowa.

Ron Paul came in third with Newt Gingrich coming in fourth. Newt really took it in the neck over the last few weeks while he was running close to Romney and it showed. I can't believe that Ron Paul came in third. He's a bit of a nutter on foreign relations and scares me a bit. Having said that, he will now become the nominee. I hope I'm wrong.

At first I thought Herman Cain could win it. Oops. Then I secretly wanted Michele Bachmann. Oops again. Now I don't want to think of who I want to win this thing. It appears to be a nail in their political coffin.

As long as we can nail the lid shut on the far left lunacy taking place in DC today, I'll vote for whoever the GOP puts up against Barry.

Six Days and Counting

Only six days until the first votes of the 2012 presidential election cycle begins. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Will Ron Paul take Iowa? Or will Mitt Romney prevail? Of course only time will tell. I won't make any predictions on the outcome. After all I said some things about Herman Cain having a good chance to be the nominee and look what happened to him.

What I will say is that I like some of what I hear from all that remain in the race. Like most normal folk I think that Ron Paul needs to wake up about foreign affairs and realize that Iran can and will be a force to be dealt with, especially if they come up with a nuclear weapon, but cutting the size of our federal government sounds good to me.

Mitt Romney will have trouble with Romneycare in Mass. and Gingrich will have trouble because he is Newt Gingrich. Three marriages and admitted infidelity, plus sitting on the couch with Nancy Pelosi. Michele Bachmann is polarizing and Santorum and Perry don't have a chance.

Still, like Sean Hannity said, I would vote for a potted plant over Obama. As long as whoever wins the nomination vows to repeal Obamacare, cuts the federal budget and has a solid plan to get this country back on track they will win. We've seen how the current administration has done nothing to further our nation. Any of the Republican candidates would do a better job.

What I'm really happy to see is that the primary season is finally getting under way. It will cause some to drop out and narrow the field. Most will hang on for the first few state primaries, but before long Huntsman, Santorum, Perry and Paul will drop out. Now that I've said that, let's see what happens. I think Bachmann will hang on until the bitter end.

I wish we could find someone that is a combination of Romney, Gingrich and  Bachmann all rolled into one. That would be a great candidate and would easily beat Obama in November. No matter what, Obama will look silly in any upcoming debate because any of these three are certainly more experienced than Obama in the ways of the world and government.

Our current Prez has not done well trying to learn as he goes.

Maria to Sean, "Communist"

I just finished listening to a radio interview done by Maria Conchita Alonso about her recent run in with Sean Penn at the LA airport. It's no secret that Maria does not care much for Sean's politics or his man love for Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez. In the past Ms. Alonso put an open letter to Penn on the internet chastising him for his position. So now I'm sure that the consternation goes both ways.

During the interview Maria says that their conversation started reasonably enough but soon voices were raised. She then admits that she called Penn a "communist "@$$hole." Good for you, Maria. If I was wearing a hat I would give you a tip of said hat. No one could have said it better if you ask me. And you must have because here you are.

Now in fairness Ms. Alonso went on to say that Penn is a gifted actor, although she said that it was a shame he was. She mentioned that it is difficult for her to watch a movie that he is in. She also mentioned voting, I'm not sure what she would be voting on, but she votes for something that Penn is involved in. I would have to agree that it would be hard to watch a movie that Penn was in, because I refuse to watch his movies. If Maria can, then she is probably better person than me because she can put her personal feelings aside. I just find it difficult to patronize someone that I don't care for. I'm not saying anything about his acting ability, but about his personal opinions.

So why is Chavez such a fan of Penn's? Didn't Penn win an award for playing openly gay San Francisco councilman Harvey Milk? I think he did and in his acceptance speech blasted folks that oppose gay marriage. Now Mr. Penn's views are certainly liberal, but I didn't think that commies were cool with homosexuals. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm not. Maybe I'm not as up on what commies like as I should be.

I don't harbor any illusions that either of the participants will read this, but I can only hope they do. Sean Penn would know how conservatives see him and Maria Conchita Alonso could see the praise I at least am sending her way. I know nothing of Ms. Alonso's politics, but I'm guessing they are not near as left as Sean Penn's.

But then again, who's are?

Another One Bites the Dust

Is that too harsh? The title I mean. Of course I'm referencing the death of Kim Jong-Il of North Korea. I just heard that he recently died. Now the country seems to be in the hands of his youngest son Kim Jong-Un. Kim light? Now that's too harsh, I'll erase that. Better? Ok.

Kim Jong-Il was a madman of the first order. Of course that's just my opinion and probably the opinion of most of the world too. Here was a guy that reminded me of a villain from a James Bond movie. That hair, those glasses and his elevator shoes. Plus his total lack of any regard for his people. His people starved while he built nuclear weapons. Yet they loved him. Crazy. The people of North Korea are completely brainwashed. This can happen when the rest of the world is totally cut off.

Now we have to wonder what will happen next. Will it be worse? Will it be better? Who knows. I just hope that we don't have a repeat of what's happening in Egypt at the moment. Can you imagine if some rouge General in the military decides to try a coup and gets his hands on the nukes? What if civil war breaks out?

We can hope that the folks of North Korea deify the latest Kim as they have the last two and nothing major happens. Then Kim III can start to bring his country into the 21st century and begins to have normal relations with the rest of the world.

It seems that the North Koreans have also just test fired two ballistic missiles. I wonder if this was just to let the world know that they are still there. I'm sure it was. And I'm sure the Chinese said it was okay to do. I doubt that Kim III is Chinese, but I would bet tons of dough that they will have his ear. Maybe he won't listen much.

All I know is that another nutty dictator is dead. This one seems to have died by natural causes instead of his own people rising up against him. Lucky him. Now his son gets the throne.

I wonder if the DNC will challenge Kim III's ascension to the throne and want a recount.
